When you meet me, you'll understand the name Tall Tails. Growing up in the Traverse City area, I've had a fishing pole in my hands as long as I can remember. My passion for fishing has led me on a lifelong pursuit to get better and better at finding and catching fish. Helping others experience the thrill of catching their own is very gratifying. Fish on!

How much does a charter trip cost?
Rates will vary depending on port and species. Please contact us for current rates and to schedule your trip today. Depending on the season, we can launch from the GT Bays, Leland, Suttons Bay, Northport or Frankfort.

What should we bring on the trip?
Please bring sunglasses, hats, jackets, a cooler to transport your filets home, and any food or drinks that you may want. Alcohol is permitted for those over 21.

What is provided?
Everything you need to catch fish, and of course the fish cleaning service. Our number one goal is to be safe out on the water so the boat is equipped with all the USCG and DNR required safety items. Refreshments and light snacks provided as well.

Do we need a fishing license?
Yes, every angler over the age of 16 needs a Michigan DNR Fishing License. You may purchase a 1-day license for $10.00: https://www.mdnr-elicense.com
